This week's theme in Sepia Saturday is weddings, flowers, steps, and anything in between. This is my contribution. The year was 1970, (mini skirt era). I dug up these pictures and took a walk down memories' lane. This was my first husband, although we divorced a few years later, we always remained friends. We lost him this past May.
Oh my goodness you both look so young! Too bad it rained but the pix of you two under the umbrella are really cute. Glad you remained friends. Always a good thing!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Love the opening shot of you in red showing off your earrings. I've always like the one of you in the white peasant blouse too and admired your jewelry.
ReplyDeleteThanks! (By the way, I still fit in my earrings from High School....LOL)
DeleteGreat to see mini skirts and getting into those big old cars in the 70s. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
ReplyDeleteGreat banner photo of you. You look the very picture of optimism as a couple. Great policy to stay friends with the exes.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos. I think the umbrella adds to the special quality of the day. The silhouette kiss is sweet.
ReplyDeleteIt started to rain as we were leaving for our Honeymoon. The umbrella was checked black and red.
DeleteLovely, happy photos and yes, the umbrella adds a certain something.
ReplyDeleteSuch nice photos. Interesting contrast between your bridal gown and the shorter skirts on the other women in attendance. You both do look young...but radiantly happy. And that plaid umbrella is quite the topper!
ReplyDeleteAh The Kiss :)
ReplyDeleteSuch A Happy View.A wonderful record.
