I saved the best for last!

I came across these pictures from "Our Miramichi Heritage Photos" Facebook site.  Some have suits, some have hats, one even has a fur coat!  Oh, those Miramichi men, they're the tough ones!!

More suits, more hats, and more pictures of any kind, visit  www.sepiasaturday.blogspot.com

  2. I count 3 service hats of some sort, 3 homburgs, 1 fedora, & a top hat, plus 8 - possibly 9 - suits depending on what's under the fur coat! Well done! And fun!!! :))

  3. Goodness -- that fur coat guy is a piece of work, isn't he? With that curly walking stick? Great photos, Rosie!

  4. Great photos. But I can;t make up my mind what the uniforms are in the first photo. I;m not game to write my guess in case I'm wrong !!!

  5. First photo - the uniforms look like those worn by porters once on UK railways or postal workers perhaps. I wouldn't like to be near the man in the fur coat when he was wielding that crooked stick.

  6. Marvellous fur coat in the last photograph, and that hat really 'tops it off'!

  9. Lovely pictures and that last one is a real gem. Alan wouldn’t get away with it though, despite what he says - very un PC real fur these days - especially in Yorkshire.
