Housesitting does have its advantages

This was a pretty sailboat going upriver, I took this picture from the back yard.  I am really enjoying this housesitting project.

A couple of days after, this oil tanker was going upriver, it made not a sound or even a slight ripple, if I hadn't been looking out the window, I would have missed it.

One day, a limosine came and picked me up along with my colleagues for a fun day of music and shopping in some communities downriver.  It was a fun day which we have once a year, last year, we took a cruise up and down  the river and went to a great hotel for dessert.  All compliments of Remax, the company I work for, wouldn't you like to work for Remax??  The chaffeur, who was dressed up in a tuxedo got out and opened the door for all of us, it was so much fun, we left in the morning and arrived back after supper at a wonderful restaurant!  I bought a pair of red sandals with a circle for a heel, real neat.  I wonder how we top that off next year!!

This must be SO hard for you!!

Remax seems to be treating you good. Can't say the same as far as my employer goes... We do get a meal once a year and we have to press against each other to eat it in the conference room. I usually skip it!! I like my comfort and to pick my own food. Seems like you got a good dose of comfort. Good for you!!

    1. Ah!! I'd tell it like it is, warning folks of things I notice, but advising them about potential. Too much HGTV will do that to you. I'm quite critical about what is being built and how it can provide a proper setting for people living there, and location, location, location: Are there any services around like grocery, dry cleaner, easy access to the highway and the subway, bars and restos, etc... If I was buying myself, I'd be hard to sell to!! But if I was a rep, buyers would love me for telling the truth, or hate me for bursting their bubble if they go "Awh!!" when walking in... I love people, but I have no patience whatsoever...

    2. Well, you are being honest about it, best way to go! I do not sell, I am the mere Receptionist, but it is an interesting place to work.
