Today, I picked up my train ticket to go to Ottawa for the Easter weekend to visit my step daughter and family. I love travelling by rail. Looking forward to seeing them all, hopefully the weather will be warm. Ottawa is a lovely city, so many different buildings, resturants, etc., especially the Sparks St. market!
Wow, I can hardly wait!

How far from where you live to Ottawa Rosie? (and don't worry, I realise that I might not get an answer until you get back) Have a fine journey.
ReplyDeleteOh, I am not leaving until April 21-24th. The distance between Miramichi and Ottawa is 804 kms. I am going by train, it will take over night, arrival time around noon the next day. It is only about 1 hour and a half by airplane!!!! (but more costly)....
