Conducting the Meeting

I was up to the challenge, I warmed them up with a couple of jokes then it was clear sailing from then on.  Everyone enjoys a good laugh.   I even managed to give my speech about attending Estate Auctions,  I had a very good evaluation.  Looking forward to my next speech.  That one will be about using body language to get my message across.  Must put  my thinking cap on for that one!

  1. Thanks for the report - you look very grand at the lectern. For your next speech I suppose you could interpret sign language as body language, and give your entire presentation in sign language.

  2. Don't think I didn't think of that, ha ha ha.

However, I believe they mean how I use my hands to express certain feelings, my facial expressions as I speak.

I have half a mind on making a speech on how the fashion world has progressed since the turn of the century. Difficult to include too much as my speech is only between 5-7 minutes......

By the way, I learned the difference between a podium and lectern. Podium is on top of a stage, lectern is when you are on the same level, I never knew that till Tuesday night.

  3. Good for you! Maybe you could do your speech on how babies communicate. Katie Rose would provide a lot of information! Tonight she grabbed the spoon and put it in her mouth... I'm pretty sure she was expressing how much she likes her cereal!! And she hasn't done that big cry before sleep since last Saturday night - wow - maybe she has outgrown that communication.

  4. Well, maybe it was time for solids after all!!! Maybe she was a little hungry. I saw the picture of her, she was all smiles!
