Old Court House In Newcastle, NB
Our old Courthouse, corner of King George Highway and Prince William St(now Newcastle Blvd.). The new courthouse is just down the highway. The house next door was torn down a few years ago, and the trees are no longer there either. This building is up for sale, hope someone buys it and puts it to good use.....

I tried to link this to Sepia Saturday but was unsuccessful. Will do more research on the matter.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful old building, I love it. I too hope someone buys the building and it will continue to stand for years to come so others may enjoy its
ReplyDeletebeauty.
Yes, it seems here that they like to tear down and build modern. Modern buildings just don't seem to have character........
ReplyDeletewhat a grand building...would be wonderful as an inn, I suppose that would take quite a bit of $$///
ReplyDeleteHi Rose, the link worked, but it is better to link the individual post rather than the overall blog. Also (as a tip) the earlier you post the more visitors you tend to get.
ReplyDeleteAs for the building, it is a fine substantial structure. Keep those postcards and old photos coming.
Oh my goodness, did I post the overall blog?? Will definitely have to do more research on the matter. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteInteresting building. Not many left like it in Newcastle UK.
ReplyDeleteBob, that is Newcastle, New Brunswick, Canada.
