Winter time--Got to love it!

This morning after having breakfast with my friends at the Goodie Shop, I decided I would shovel off the out back so I could open my back door.

I waded (and huffed and puffed) my way all along the side of the house, in drift banks of about 3 and half feet.  I finally reached my destination---the back steps where the snow had drifted about 5 feet.  I shovelled a rabbit's path, (enough for one foot in front of the other).

I am now able to open my back door and walk down the steps should the occasion arise that I need a quick exit out the back door.

Gladly, when Spring and Summer arrives, these shovelling memories will fade away, and once again, I shall enjoy my little abode................

  1. Why do we have to love it again?! Yes, we too are getting another storm beginning in a couple of hours and lasting until sometime Monday. I love your neighbor's garden too...the courthouse is very cool and hopefully someone will buy it, or maybe the city can make a good use of it .....
